HVAC Brazer

FriconUSA is seeking an HVAC Brazer for our HVACR Manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will lay out, fabricate, assembles, install, and maintain piping and systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and/or industrial processing systems. Needs to be a punctual and dependable person.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED

• 1+ years’ experience

• Mechanical Knowledge

• Brazing / Soldering Copper

• Basic math skills

• Build required framework from drawings / plans and applications legend

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit and assemble framework for refrigeration equipment

• Utilize hand and power tools

• Measure and cut framework to the exact length

• Must be able to perform set-ups and form parts from drawings

• Braze copper, weld joints and seams using the correct technique

• Work effectively and communicate often with team members

• Observe and follow safety rules and regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be able to accurately read drawings and produce quality fabricated

• Accurate set up and fixturing during fabrication of weldments from drawings

• Maintain a safe working environment and exhibit a positive safety attitude

• Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars and aluminum profiles to specific lengths

• Operate overhead crane to move, assemble and select material to be fabricated or shipped

• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping

• Unload trailers and store material in storage bins

• Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner

• Assist other employees in any of the above tasks

• Interact with coworkers and customers in a positive manner, follow directions and work rules and accept constructive feedback required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC/R experience

• Willingness to learn
