Research market conditions to determine potential sales of refrigeration equipment and other methods of food preservation and storage. Research and gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand for refrigeration equipment and other methods of food preservation and storage. Gather information to
assist the company in determining its position in the marketplace. Utilize research results to prepare sales reports, lead reports, and sales presentations. Create, develop, and maintain internal and external content. Assist with lead generation from all sources by identifying and researching potential sales prospects and maintaining accurate lead data in the company’s CRM. Contribute to online content strategies through regular research of keywords and industry trends. Assist in the creation, planning, and scheduling of
routine social media posts. Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner. Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies, particularly in the food preservation area. Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues. Assist with trade show coordination and related details. Report directly to the Marketing Coordinator and/or Plant Coordinator.
Minimum Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree in food preservation, food and resources economics, or related field, with a focus on Marketing.
