Wiring Technician

FriconUSA is seeking a Wiring Technician / Electrical Assembler for our HVAC/R Manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will layout and assemble wiring for equipment based on drawings provided. Needs to be a punctual and dependable person.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED

• 1+ years’ experience

• Mechanical Knowledge

• Standard American electrical symbols

• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams / blue prints

• Understand wire gauges and color codes

• Knowledge of electrical components: contactors, breakers, transformers, electronic communication boards, VFD, PLC, etc

• Able to read a tape measure

• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities:

• Layout and assemble wiring for equipment.

• Ability to read and understand drawings and applications legend for circuit and parts identification.

• Measure and cut wiring.

• Must be able to use hand tools throughout the work day.

• Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner

• Assist other employees in any of the above tasks

Qualifications / Characteristics:

• Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a positive manner, follow directions and work rules and accept constructive feedback required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC/R experience

• Willingness to learn
